Regional Sales Manager Sovereign Brands (m/f/d) Western Germany
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for delivering volume, distribution, merchandising, and pricing performance across their designated markets pertaining to certain designated wines, spirits and other product (the Brands ) as designated by their supervisor.
Responsibility covers (a) all channels of business for such products including, without limitation, on and off-premise trade, (b) managing importer relationships as well as major customer relationships, and (c) developing and executing sales programming with the importer as well as managing sales budgets and marketing programs in the pursuit of achieving both quantitative and qualitative KPI’s.
The Area Sales Manager’s services include, without limitation :
Cultivate a strong relationship with the Importer / Distributor, ensuring continuous brand visibility and dedicated attention.
Collaborate smoothly within the Importer's structure, providing support, guidance, and motivation to teams without disruption.
Contribute to the development and execution of the annual sales plan for the designated territory in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
Effectively manage the Brand portfolio in Western Germany , engaging with accounts and promoting Brands through active regional travel.
Collaborate with the Importer to ensure proper depletion and inventory management, preventing stockouts, and planning for future growth.
Implement innovative consumer activation programs, including product sampling and demos in both on and off-premise settings.
Cultivate and manage relationships with Importer personnel, from Senior Management to Sales Reps.
Ensure the planning and implementation of sales and marketing programs across all markets.
Support the Sales Manager in developing and efficiently managing all sales budgets.
Oversee the planning and execution of price structures and shelf prices in the market.
Your Profile :
Proven experience in account growth and development within the spirits industry.
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze metrics for informed decision-making.
Excellent organizational skills, adept at prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ambitious mindset with a passion for driving positive change.
Proficient in computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Flexibility with irregular working hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Proficiency in both English and German.
