Your mission

As our Head of Legal Engineering, you will be leading the Legal Engineering team. Your mission is to serve as the legal team lead and strategic customer liaison, ensuring that legal expertise is seamlessly translated into automated solutions that provide immediate value:

• Lead Team and Strategy: Lead a team of legal professionals and guide their efforts in driving our product’s legal side while ensuring efficiency and continuous growth. You will manage our legal partners network whenever external legal support is required.

• Customer Support: Interact strategically with customers to translate their legal requirements into automated legal processes. You will support the customer success team in their client interactions and developing new use cases. Together with the customer, you plan and manage complex co-development projects from planning to implementation.

• Business Support: You will support our Sales team by conducting demos and negotiating contracts.

• Professional Services Development: Strategically setup and further develop our professional services to ensure clients make the maximum utility out of the Legartis solution.

Your profile

We are seeking a proactive and decisive leader who thrives at the intersection of legal technology and customer strategy.

• You hold a Master’s degree in Law or equivalent (any additional education or the admission to the bar is a plus).

• You have profound post-qualification experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.

• You have proven experience in advising clients in the review of contracts and are able to build strong client relationships.

• You have a track record of successfully leading teams and collaborating with multi stakeholders.

• You’re experienced in supporting Sales teams by conducting demos and negotiating contracts.

• You’re experienced in supporting Customer Success teams by helping customers, identifying upsell opportunities and new use cases.

• You’re highly interested in current legal trends involving AI, machine learning, and prompting with GenAI solutions.

• You have experience in planning, managing, and executing complex projects and are able to manage strategic priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm presence.

• You have excellent (legal) communication and writing skills in German and English (any further language such as French is a plus).

• You’re a flexible individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and high organizational skills, who’s not afraid to make mistakes and brings their positive, candid attitude to the table.
