As a Program Manager at OpenText, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-value digital solutions to our customers. You will manage various projects, from smaller engagements to complex, multi-country projects, ensuring successful delivery, financial oversight, and customer satisfaction. By collaborating with customers, partners, and colleagues, you will help drive digital transformations, optimize IT capabilities, and maximize the value of OpenText's software solutions.
You can work remotely in this role; however, you have to be based in Germany already.
WHAT THE JOB OFFERS
- As a Program Manager you will be responsible for (international) multi-project activities regarding the delivery of OpenText software (e.g. ITOM, ADM, cyber security) at our enterprise customers
- Working on the offering analyzing the scope of the projects and estimating the deliverables
- Reporting and dashboard creation
- Identifying bottlenecks in projects and seeking resourcing needs
- Task tracking and bug scrubbing
- As part of the professional services unit, you will be working in a cross functional team aligning with infrastructure, engineering and operations to drive positive outcomes for new products and features
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
University degree in Computer Science or related technical degree or equivalent practical experience (7+ years in software development and process with a solid understanding of computer architecture and distributed systems)5+ years of experience leading mid- to large scale software projectsKnowledge of agile (preferably Scaled Agile), hybrid, and traditional project management methodologiesA certificate in project management (e.g. PMP, SAFe, Prince)Experience with producing and reviewing UML diagrams & requirements documentsUnderstanding of project governance, financial management, and risk managementFamiliarity with OpenText product portfolio or similar technologies (IT Operations Management, Cyber Resilience, etc.)Good communication and presentation skills in German and English, both verbal and written
