The research focus of the department is on deciphering the immunological mechansims of cancer metastasis.

Your tasks :

  • Conducting research in basic biology of lymphocytes and tumor immunology
  • Mastering single-cell multi-omics technologies to profile the tumor-immune landscape
  • Application of bioinformatic tools to analyze, visualize and integrate omics data
  • Co-supervision of a team of PhD students and Master students
  • Coordination of project development, animal licenses and grant writing

Your skills :

  • PhD in biology, biomedicine or a related discipline
  • Postdoctoral experience
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong commitment, motivation, independence, ability to work in a team
  • Excellent written and spoken English, ability to communicate and teach in German is a plus
  • Experimental experience in the fields of immunology or bioinformatics is an advantage
