The role of "Innovation Portfolio Manager" is crucial in guiding Allianz's innovation endeavours through strategic management and optimization of innovation project portfolios. This position focuses on enhancing the visibility of the quantifiable (business) impact of innovation efforts to guarantee their alignment with Allianz Technology's strategic goals. The Innovation Portfolio Manager facilitates transparency to support the scaling of solutions within AzT and across the entire Allianz Group. By doing so, the Innovation Portfolio Manager ensures Allianz stays ahead in innovation, nurturing a culture of ongoing improvement and learning
What you do :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive approach to innovation portfolio management to achieve strategic goals and maximize the impact of innovation initiatives.
- Support the Head of Innovation in prioritizing and shaping innovation projects based on clearly defined criteria.
- Evaluate potential innovation projects for feasibility, impact, scaling potential, and strategic alignment.
- Monitor and manage the progress of innovation projects to ensure timely execution and delivery.
- Optimize resource allocation across projects to maximize outcomes and manage risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gain insights and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate portfolio updates and outcomes to senior leadership and relevant parties.
- Prepare reports on portfolio performance and identify opportunities for process improvement
What you bring :
Demonstrated experience in portfolio management, innovation management, or a similar role.Strong analytical skills coupled with structured and strategic thinking abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and spirit, showcasing resilience and positivity while skillfully navigating organizational processes and structures to achieve swift and effective outcomes. Demonstrate excellence in solving complex problems and overcoming challenges that involve multiple stakeholders.Exhibit a strong customer-centric approach, consistently prioritizing the needs and perspectives of our Operating Entities (OEs) and end-customers in all innovation efforts and decision-making processes. By doing so, we aim to systematically enhance our customers' trust in our innovation capabilities.Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.Experience in project management and resource allocation, with a solid understanding of PMO practicesWhat we offer :
