Network Engineer
Senior IT Network Engineer
Our client, a global leader in electronic design and test solutions and a pioneer in technology innovation, is seeking a talented Senior IT Network Engineer.
As part of the IT Global Network Centre of Excellence (COE), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-performance, secure, and cost-effective IT networks across more than 130 global sites.
Responsibilities :
- Support, optimize, and maintain global network infrastructure (Data, Security) across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas in a "follow the sun" model.
- Troubleshoot complex network (LAN, WAN, DNS, etc.) and firewall issues to ensure seamless operation.
- Act as the primary escalation point and subject matter expert for Asia Pacific network operations.
- Provide technical leadership to global operations, focusing on the Asia Pacific region.
- Identify and resolve network performance bottlenecks to enhance uptime.
- Enhance network security, participate in incident response, and lead Problem Management and root cause analysis.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network and security.
- Cisco certification is required, preferably CCNP. Additional advanced certifications or security specializations are a plus.
- Experience with some or all of the following technologies : SolarWinds, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewalls, Cisco SDWAN, Wireless, Routing / Switches, Juniper Switches, A10 Load Balancers.
