As a Luxury Fiber Application Engineer (m / f / d) in our Fiber Business Unit, you will play a central role in driving the adoption of AMSilk’s sustainable silk-based yarns in the luxury fashion industry. You will collaborate with scientists, textile partners, and global brands to develop, promote, and implement high-performance, next-generation textile solutions. This position bridges deep technical expertise with creativity, customer focus, and strong project execution skills.

Your responsibility and impact within AMSilk company means to :

• Design and optimize AMSilk’s yarn portfolio to ensure high performance, fitness for use, and cost efficiency across textile applications
• Develop strong partnerships with selected luxury brands and key multipliers (e.g., fabric mills) to co-create fabric collections for promotion and commercialization
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to customers, helping them integrate AMSilk’s yarns into their fabrics and resolving application or performance challenges
• Work closely with R&D, Sales, and internal teams to develop new yarn solutions, support commercial teams with technical presentations, and deliver customer training
• Conduct thorough testing of yarn and fabric constructions to assess performance, usability, and end-use compatibility
• Act as a guardian of technical specifications from a customer and application perspective
• Represent AMSilk at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events, highlighting our technical leadership
• Provide consistent market and customer feedback to internal teams to inform development and strategy
• Stay up to date on market trends, technologies, and regulatory changes, contributing to competitive positioning of AMSilk yarns
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., Oeko-Tex®, biodegradability) and support customers in meeting their sustainability goals
