Software Developer Intern or Working Student (m/f/d) in Digital Solutions for Investment Team

You will work together with Allianz entities globally supporting them during the tool roll-out as well as introducing them to new features.
You will be part of a small developer team from various departments within Allianz Investment Management (Asset Liability Management, Financial Control / Risk, AIM Singapore).
This gives you the chance to contribute to a global start-up like environment within a largepany.
Job purpose / role
As an integral part of the Digital Solutions for Investments (DSI) team you will support a dedicated project on developing and rolling-out an in-house developed portfolio simulation tool.

Key responsibilities
- Develop high-performance, reliable, testable and maintainable code
- Participate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and code documentation
- Support the tool roll-out to Allianz entities globally
- Apply the in-house developed portfolio simulation tool together with investment managers
Key requirements / Skills / Experience
- Studyingputer Science or a similar technical degree (relation to investments and capital markets is a plus)
- Proficient with at least one of the following : C#, Java
- Knowledgeable about object oriented design and development concepts
- Experienced with version control systems such as Git
- Interested in capital markets and investment management
- Familiar with financial modelling (bond pricing, derivatives, yield curves, ..)
- Fluent in English, demonstrating a high level ofpetence in all forms ofmunication
- Able to work independently within a very international and dynamic environment
