Install, configure, manage, and maintain data center equipment, including servers, network devices, and storage systems, as well as handle cabling.
Monitor the operational status and environment of data center equipment to ensure the optimal performance of servers, networks, and other critical infrastructure.
Promptly address equipment issues and abnormalities by conducting fault diagnosis and problem resolution.
Perform regular inspections to maintain the security and stability of the data center's operations.
Manage records of rack usage within the data center, maintaining accurate documentation of rack utilization and asset inventory.
Collaborate with other teams to assist in technical pre-sales support, conduct data center tours, and address post-sales inquiries.
Coordinate with external vendors to facilitate the smooth installation, configuration, and repair of equipment.
Support operations and maintenance across various Points of Presence (POP) locations, assisting with the delivery and testing of the company’s communication network products.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications or a related field from a German university; familiarity with relevant products or internship experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
Strong learning ability with attention to detail, proactive approach, critical thinking skills, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Fluent in English and German, excellent communication skills.
Proficient in commonly used computer software.
