Field Application Engineer (m/f/d)

For our client we are currently looking for a Field Application Engineer (m / f / d) - Raum Stuttgart.
Your tasks
- Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, spectral measurement systems, imaging systems and computer system
- Perform advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of designated equipment
- Mechanical skills installation of sensor modules in larger sorting machines in metal scrap yards and repair of sensor modules at Ocean Optics in Ostfildern
- Analytical Skill : logical and step-by-step approach instead of wild and confused
- Test to make sure that machinery has the capability to carry out desired functions. Able to perform data analysis using statistical tools
- Provide training to end user, applying technical knowledge to adapt the chosen equipment to the specific job application
- Oversee installation to see that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications
- Set schedule of procedures and maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment in prescribed condition
- Provide technical information and training to workers in other departments as needed
- Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner
- Provide equipment functionality and capability reports and act as technical liaison daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction
