We are now looking for a Territory Manager for our client UVDI.

Who is UVDI?

UVDI, or UltraViolet Devices, Inc., is a company specializing in providing advanced ultraviolet (UV) technology solutions for air purification and surface disinfection.

Their products utilize UV-C light, which is effective in deactivating and eliminating bacteria, viruses, spores, and other harmful microorganisms.

UVDI serves various industries including healthcare, commercial and industrial, offering solutions to improve indoor air quality and enhance environmental hygiene.

What you will do :

The International Business Development Manager (IBDM) spearheads UVDI's global expansion in the healthcare sector. You will devise and execute sales strategies for international markets, identify target markets, establish business processes, and ensure sales and profit objectives are met.

The IBDM supports distributors and key accounts, collaborates with management to optimize operations, and provides regular reporting and recommendations for market improvement.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Manage and develop UVDI-MED’s international presence, primarily through distribution channels.
  • Develop annual sales plans to support organizational revenue and profit objectives for UVDI MED international distributors.
  • Understand and effectively operate in diverse cultures, adhering to international business protocols.
  • Handle international commerce, including regulatory issues, logistics, and local regulations related to sales.
  • Negotiate international distribution agreements and manage UVDI obligations under such contracts.
  • Act as the primary sales and product resource for international distributors and customers.
  • Identify market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity to support UVDI’s strategic objectives.
  • Review and approve distributor sales and marketing collateral in international markets.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and distributor contracts.
  • Perform customer product demonstrations and distributor training.
  • Present to various departments to facilitate the adoption of UVDI equipment within assigned territory.
  • Submit required reporting and communication in a timely manner, such as forecasts and monthly reports.
  • Consult with distributors, and UVDI marketing to facilitate study sites and disseminate results.
  • Participate in international trade shows as required.
  • Conduct revenue and expenditure analysis, execute the budget, and ensure overall fiscal stewardship.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred, with emphasis on international business management or relevant experience.
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in international sales with a successful track record.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, developing, and growing international distributors.
  • Familiarity with international cultural, regulatory, and legal issues related to sales and marketing.
  • Proven track record of distribution management and achieving sales goals.
  • Knowledge of healthcare market capital equipment selling process in multiple international markets.
  • Experience selling innovative "disruptive technology" products or services.
  • Excellent consultative selling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and CRM software.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in multi-national selling with effective presentation skills.
  • Availability to travel between 30%-50%(?)

  • Ensure customer contacts and histories are updated in reports.
  • Be knowledgeable of industry trends and technical developments.
