Senior Automation Engineer - 6+ Months - Pharma Industry - Bremen, Germany
Title : Senior Automation Engineer
Location : Bremen Area, Germany
Type : Contract / Freelance (6 months+)
Responsibilities :
- Developing requirement specifications and evaluating functional specifications with a focus on pharmaceutical industry needs.
- Crafting automation systems and network designs.
- Analyzing and upkeeping software on PLCs and SCADA systems.
- Managing automation and networking projects from inception to approval, aligning with industry standards.
- Assisting subcontractors during installation and problem-solving phases.
- Enhancing and integrating current automation systems into networks.
- Collaborating on the practical and conceptual aspects of planning new automation-driven production lines.
- Documenting modifications and system expansions, potentially with relevant qualification records.
- Conducting on-site repairs, emergency interventions, and acceptance tests.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in automation technology.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in process control and automation technology, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector with a background in GMP guidelines.
- Excellent proficiency in automation technology, including Siemens S7, TIA, PCS7, and WINCC.
- Fundamental understanding of extensive control systems such as MES and ERP, as well as administration of MS Windows Server systems.
- Knowledge in electrical engineering is advantageous.
- Passion for implementing intricate automation concepts.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in German and English.
