The automotive industry is on the brink of a transformative shift with the rise of Ethernet in zonebased E / E architectures. This evolution not only enables innovative use cases but also introduces new security challenges.
Softwaredefined networking (SDN) a cornerstone of the Softwaredefined Vehicle brings new fundamental requirements such as dynamic network reconfiguration during runtime and enhanced performance for cryptographic protocols due to increased communication load of ADAS functionalities. It also requires robust security configurations for the network due to the increasing complexity of communication streams.
- We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate with a strong background in embedded security and cryptography.
- During your assignment you will conduct indepth analysis of key agreement protocols with a particular focus on embedded shared media applications.
- Also you develop novel approaches for peer authorization and create tools to efficiently derive security configurations for (automotive) Ethernet networks.
- Last but not least you publish present as well as discuss research findings in toptier journals and at leading conferences.
