The Business Development Manager (m / f / d) of Heraeus Printed Electronics (HPE) brings the new Prexonics® turnkey solution for inkjet printing of metal coatings into the market. They are the interface between market segment / applications, customers, and internal startup functions. The main goals are to identify business opportunities, win customer projects, and oversee their realization until the business is established.

- The Business Development Manager (m / f / d) plays a key role in identifying business opportunities in the target market segments and applications of HPE.
- This involves assessing customer needs and the ability of Prexonics® to meet them, while also positioning HPE’s solution versus existing products and the latest industry developments in the specific market segments and applications of HPE.
- Additionally, pitching Prexonics® solutions and convincing stakeholders in the value chain (OEM, OSAT, IDM, etc.) and at conferences / exhibitions is part of the job.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with key customers, aiming to win and maintain customer confidence in the implementation of HPE’s new technology is a pivotal aspect.
- Furthermore, translating market segment, application, and customer requirements into requirements for the HPE development teams (ink chemistry, equipment industrialization, processes) in order to define the development roadmap is also part of the responsibilities.
- Calculating total costs of ownership, defining pricing options, and issuing quotations, as well as monitoring trends in target market segments and applications of HPE are crucial tasks.
- Additionally, participating in HPE’s strategy and business model definition and acting as a strategic counterpart to HPE’s Technical Solution Managers and Project Leads, as well as to the account managers form an integral part of the role.
Your Profile :
A degree in Engineering (e.g., chemistry, materials science) with a sound business understanding or a degree in business with a sound understanding of printed electronics technologies.A pioneer mindset with a creative approach to new business models is essential, as is a driver mindset with a proactive and target-oriented work style.Analytical skills to research and assess target market segments and incumbent / new technologies.Strategic skills to define the best strategy / tactics for HPE to enter and grow in new market segments / applications.Strong representation and convincing communication skills.Experience with semiconductor and automotive value chains, as well as inks and inkjet printing systems.International experience working with companies and people in Asia, the USA, and Europe.Experience in project management with international customers in the high-tech sector (preferably semiconductor industry).Excellent communication (internal and external) and presentation skills.Start-up experience and adaptability are also important.Your Benefits :
