Role Overview
As Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and data of our organization. Collaborating closely with the finance team and other departments, you will provide insightful analysis and support strategic decision-making processes.
Your Tasks
- Financial Analysis and Reporting :
Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to prepare comprehensive reports on SaaS metrics, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Deliver regular management, shareholder and lender reportsBusiness intelligence :Manage the definition, data sources, infrastructure and dashboards of key financial and non-financial metrics across the company
Own and improve the finance analytics data layer, continuously enhancing availability and accuracy of real-time dataBudgeting and Forecasting :Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.Strategic Planning Support :Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant financial information for strategic planning.
Provide analytical support for business initiatives, including market analysis and financial feasibility studies.System and Process Enhancement :Utilize financial software tools such as Lucanet, Oracle NetSuite, and Salesforce to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.Stakeholder Communication :Prepare and present financial reports to management, effectively communicating key insights and recommendations.
Act as a liaison between finance and other departments, fostering collaboration and information sharing.Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business intelligence, consulting or a related role.Proficiency in analysis of financial and commercial metrics.Experience with financial software systems (e.g. Lucanet, Oracle NetSuite, and Salesforce, BI tools).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or office environment.Fluency in written and spoken German and English is mandatory.Nice to have
Experience in the technology or software industry.Ability to analyze and query large-scale data, e.g. with SQL, Python or RFamiliarity with cloud data warehouses, e.g. SnowflakeFamiliarity with German (HGB) financial reporting standards and practices.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.That sounds like you?
