At Nordson Matrix Technologies GmbH, a leading company in state-of-the-art X-ray inspection solutions, we are constantly looking for

dedicated and motivated engineers. As a team member of our engineering team you will work on high-speed Aut omated Inline X-ray

Inspection systems (AXI) and semi-automated X-ray Inspection systems.

Role and Responsibilities

In our development department we have an open position for an electrical engineer who will focus on software development of

automation technologies.

The role focuses on developing the interface between hardware and system software, including contributing to related specifications. It involves designing industrial electrical control panels in compliance with international standards, as well as handling the electrical design and commissioning of motion systems. The position requires creating technical concepts, specifications, and documentation, while proactively resolving technical issues before they escalate. Additionally, the role supports Service, Marketing, and Sales teams by interpreting customer requirements and validating appropriate technical solutions.

Programming developing and optimizing the hardware on the AXI systems. Developing and implementing of new concepts in machine design, imaging and controls.

Program Codesys based Controllers

Participate in risk and safety analysis on our systems

Create and maintain circuit diagrams

Provide support for Applications and Field-Service, in-house and at customer sites.

Provide help in creating product training for internal personnel.

Understand and interpret the customer requirements and provide the best solution, working closely with Product / Project Management.

Support global and regional applications efforts per company needs.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor / Master / Technician Degree in Electronics / Automation / Mechatronics science or similar certificates.

Experience in PLC programming on Codesys based PLC’s or similar.

Good experience in automation, control systems or machinery projects.

Fluency in spoken and written English, preferably also German.

Preferably experience with Cleanroom requirements

Preferably experience with X-ray or optical inspection systems.

Experience with Inventor, E-Plan, WS-Cad, Solidworks, SafeExpert is desirable

Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance.

Creative with strong problem-solving skills.

Highly proactive with the ability to make decisions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

Passion to work within an international, interdisciplinary team.

Travel Required
