Job Details

Join a dynamic logistics team where youll drive customer satisfaction through expert order management and shipment coordination. In this role youll proactively handle customer communications calculate transit times and freight costs and manage end-to-end shipment execution using WorldStar and other-critical systems.

Responsibilities :

accepts jobs by t e l e phone I email I fax I internet

writes conversation-protocols

calcul ates transit-times

cal culates shipment prices

raises jobs in WorldStar and edits these if need arises

se l ects rout i ngs by d e ciding on a single or comb i n at i on of transportat i on-types (airplane car train Aerolink)

order s drivers (pickup I delivery of shipments at the cu s tomer delivery I pickup of shipments at the freight - company)

checks collected shipments i n the office and prepares them for tran s port

books and preadvises shipments

monitors shipments during the transport and reacts flexibly to any deviation from the plan

continuously checks the notes i n WorldStar and handles preadvised shipments

checks the planned departure or arrival times of flights ( Post Flight Check )

completes jobs (enters extra-charg e s pricing)

i nvoi c e s sh i pments

checks the internal debits and credits (Clearinghouse)

works securely with all pertinent regul ations (ADR I DGR I IATA) as well as the relevant l aws and ord i nances

uses and maintains the available technical tools (WorldStar OpStar BioStar OrgaNice Flight Monitor)

maintains clinical trails us i ng Bi oStar (study management)

r e cognizes i mportant information and makes immediate us e o f this informat i on (All Stations E ma i l s Holiday Lis t s Op s - Memo s C / H Memos)

regularly partakes in being on-call orders office supp l i es manages the store-room (packaging supplies cooling-medi a etc) communicates with national and international World Courier stations I Aerolink I agents

builds and ma i nta i ns relationships to contractors I transporte r s (ai r l i nes handling agents the Rail customs government agenc i es veterinarians suppliers etc)

Requirements :

Written and verbal communication skills

Minimum skills required :

Fluency i n English
