Job Description
- Support of strategic customers in the market Security & Military & Environmental
- Acquisition of new customers in segments above by cold call initiatives
- Technical support and solution recommendation in the field of Analytical Instrumentation especially Chemical Warfare agents, Narcotics, Drugs, and Explosives
- Co-ordination and development of Strategic accounts in the relevant territories
- Support of various marketing activities including trade shows and marketing campaigns
- Active account management and responsibility for account development
- Forecasting, and recordkeeping on INFICON CRM
- Suggests and assist to the Manager in his annual preparation on the individual territorial sales budget
- Provides monthly reports to the Manager
- Collaboration and execution of dedicated Sales Strategies in markets above
- Proactive visiting, exploring and monitoring customer needs in the field
- Planning and execution of mailing campaigns as well as INFICON webinars
- Assisting in the Preparation of social media campaigns together with the Marketing departments
- Active in lead generation via social media
- Geographical coverage : EMEA
Distributor Management
Will additionally work close with the distribution manager and teamManage and develop performance of individual distributors within the segments Military&Security as well as EnvironmentalCarry out and periodically update market and competition analyses in EMEA for distributor and potential-distributor countriesIdentify suitable candidates on the basis of qualitative criteria, conduct contract negotiations and conclude distributor / representative contracts after submissionTrain distributors on product and application as well as our known sales approaches and tools (e.g. SPIN, FABscore sheet)Support distributors in day-to-day business and regularly accompany and coach them in their approach and visit of customersPeriodically assess distributors, derive and follow up on measures if necessarySupport of various marketing activities including trade shows, strategic industry committees, and marketing campaignsCollaboration and execution of Sales Strategies as well as monitoring customer needs in the fieldAbility to demonstrate all company products to a wide variety of potential customersQualifications
Completed technical and / or chemical studies (e.g. Engineer) or a comparable technical education in chemistryMinimum of three years accomplished sales experience in similar environmentSuccess oriented Sales Manager with high perceptive “quick learning” mentalityKnowledge in Analytical Instrumentation is preferredCustomer-oriented thinking and actingHigh curiosity linked with a high grade of independent working style and high self-motivationWilling to travel throughout Europe and UKExcellent English skills and German are mandatoryOther European language skills are of advantageAdditional Information
