IT System Engineer

Our satellite ground systems are valued by our customers for their reliability and performance. The "Project IT" team designs these systems and is responsible for the regular maintenance care and regeneration of the components and continuous further development. We are looking for you to operate and constantly improve our systems. As an IT systems engineer you are instrumental in our success!

Your tasks

  • As an IT systems engineer you will be responsible for the implementation of IT projects in the field of satellite ground systems
  • As a technical manager you communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • You will create tasks for the IT system specialists and IT operations and ensure the implementation
  • Technical challenges appeal to their ambition and spirit of research
  • You design IT systems to meet customer requirements
  • You will ensure compatibility with the technical interfaces in the project
  • You will be in direct contact with the project management and draw up schedules for the implementation of the IT system
  • You will advise on the technologies used drawing on the expertise of IT specialists
  • You will support new projects and proposal teams in the design phase and translate project requirements into IT infrastructure requirements
  • You will support the test team in carrying out tests in the implementation phase
  • In addition you can take on the responsibility of being a service owner
  • They ensure the quality of the documents requested in the project

Your qualifications

  • You have a degree with a focus on IT and several years of professional experience in the project environment or a comparable qualification
  • You have a broad interest in IT and technology and are an expert in at least one subject area
  • You are familiar with common processes and products for project and IT service management (ITIL Jira Confluence MS Project)
  • You can motivate employees and instruct them professionally
  • You have an overview of complex relationships in the project and can present them
  • You have a high sense of responsibility
  • You like to communicate in a solutionoriented convincing and friendly manner
  • Knowledge of Jira MS Project idoit and the Office components is desirable
  • You have written and spoken German and English skills
