YOU...
- are responsible for the assessment of test requests and refinement together with the design team
- liaise with test experts from different test departments, like Propulsion Testing, Energy Testing and Flight Testing
- identificate instrumentation requirements in relation to aircraft, system and sub-system specifications
- design and develop custom test equipment for data acquisition, measurement, failure injection etc. including creation of procedures and documentation
- evaluate test concepts with idealization of physical effects and first-principle reasoning
- develop complex test rigs and setups and coordinate our support teams (software, mechanical and electrical CAD, technicians and electricians), which will involve the managing of key suppliers
- take the ownership of E-Motor Test Benches and critical Powertrain Distribution Units aboard one of most critical Integration Test Benches and the ownership of critical aspects of the system verification cycle
- perform the test execution with automated test tools and measurement equipment for verification and validation activities and evaluate the test reports and the test results
- create the Failure Analysis Reports / defect reporting when required and report and discuss test results with the system development team
- work on any ad hoc related tasks or projects provided by management

YOU...
- have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics or a related field
- have an in-depth testing experience
- have ideally good knowledge and experience with multi-kW electrical machines and drives and in HV System Integration Lab
- have knowledge of standard ARINC 661, ARINC 653, ARINC 664
- have experience in test and test rig instrumentation, test execution and data processing and the needed experience and knowledge in electrical and communication architectures
- have a good understanding of network protocols like, CAN, ARINC, RS422 / 485, UART and ethernet and a good understanding of mechatronics basics on sensors, actuators and controller systems
- have fluent German and English language skills
