Position : Legal Counsel – Insurance & Regulatory Specialist

Location : Remote, Germany

Company : Leading InsurTech redefining the insurance industry through technology and innovation.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Legal Counsel to provide expert guidance across our client’s operations in Germany.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on a range of issues, including contract law, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and general legal inquiries.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal agreements to mitigate risks and protect the company’s best interests.
  • Monitor changes in German and EU legislation, advising on their implications and ensuring compliance across departments.
  • Support cross-functional teams by providing proactive, practical legal advice.
  • Implement internal policies and procedures to maintain legal integrity and compliance.

Requirements :

  • German-qualified lawyer with 2nd State Examination.
  • In-depth understanding of German and EU legal frameworks .
  • At least 3 years’ post qualification experience as a legal counsel / lawyer.
  • Strong advisory skills, with professional fluency in German and English .
