EMEAI IT - Regional Demand Manager

Als IT Regional Demand Manager (m / w / d) agieren Sie als Hauptpartner für unsere verschiedenen Businessfunktionen und Geschäftseinheiten hauptsächlich innerhalb Deutschlands.

Hierbei erfassen Sie Business Needs, priorisieren die verschiedenen Anfragen und gleichen die Anfragen mit den IT-Ressourcen ab.

Eine Ihrer Hauptaufgabe besteht darin, die IT-Kapazität mit den Businessneeds abzustimmen und sicherzustellen, dass die Nachfrage im Einklang mit dem vereinbarten Plan und Ressourcenbasis steht.

Main Tasks :

Manage the relationship with the business units with respect to their new requirements (projects, system enhancement requests, capacity requirements, supporting :

• Demand Forecasting : Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, project future needs, and create a comprehensive demand forecast for IT resources and services;
• Demand Prioritization : Evaluating and prioritizing the demand based on factors such as business impact, strategic alignment, resource availability, and budget constraints.

This involves working closely with business units to understand their priorities and negotiate agreements on resource allocation.

• Stakeholder Management : Collaborating with various stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, project managers, and senior management, to gather requirements, communicate resource allocation decisions, and manage expectations regarding IT services and delivery timelines.
• Continuous Improvement : Monitoring and analyzing IT demand management processes and identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains, and automation.

Implementing best practices and lessons learned to enhance the overall effectiveness of IT demand management.

Financial Management : Working closely with the Regional IT Finance to develop and manage IT budgets, track expenses, optimize resource utilization, and provide cost transparency to stakeholders.

Drive the IT demand management process and ensures that demands are captured, assessed (proposing alternative solution scenarios, ensuring scope, specification), costed, supported by Business case and are feasible / implementable / scalable with agreements on delivery commitments made by the implementation and operations teams.

• Manage a group of Demand leaders ensuring :
• Full team alignment with process and procedure about the demand management.
• alignment about application roadmap and related action facilitating corporate initiatives.
• Implement the overall IT demand management structure & processes in agreement with the Global - Regional IT Management.
• Responsible as Demand Leader for all of the Sherwin Legal entities located in Germany.
• Interact with BRM, Program Manager and Product and Delivery Manager Regional Management ensuring alignment between corporate governance and regional demand initiatives;
• Build an overall demand pipeline in alignment with the Corporate Demand intake process.
• Maintain a project and enhancement roadmap aligned with business priority, IT capacity, technical dependencies and ongoing project portfolio.
• Prepare and maintain a System Enhancement Request Portfolio view and facilitate prioritization and scheduling decisions for System Enhancement requests in order to ensure optimal usage of the IT capacity.
• Liaise with the business units to shape and implement the demand management processes as well as the regular liaison / relationship management interactions.
• Ensures timely and accurate reporting of all IT demand related issues to the key stakeholders.
• Engage / Interact with the Local IT Team and external partner.
• Create transparency about upcoming business initiatives, the current demand pipeline, the current IT change execution performance, capacity situation.
• Create transparency on the current IT operations status via operational KPIs, monthly reviews and other metrics.
• Highlight any arising risks, provides mitigation plan, also brings any issues up and applies problem solving techniques to resolve them.

Incidental functions

• Attend management meetings & provide status updates.
• Share responsibility for hiring activities and fulfilling affirmation action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employer opportunity policy, or existing hiring practices in designated countries.

ADDITIONAL DIMENSIONS :

Candidate should be located in Germany as the best location to manage relationship with the German businesses or mainland Europe where Sherwin-Williams has a location.

Candidate should be able to reasonably travel to an official Sherwin-Williams office location .

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION : Required :

Required :

University Degree with minimum 8 years of experience in IT, or Non-university degree with minimum +10 years of IT experience

Preferred :

• Min +5 years of relevant experience as IT Manager
• Professional Certification (. COBIT, ITIL, PMP) will be appreciated

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :

Required :

Industry knowledge : The supply chain, production and distribution processes are all areas where demand managers can develop industry knowledge.

Having a thorough understanding of the industry can help you make informed decisions about how to best meet customer needs.

You can learn about the industry by reading industry publications, attending conferences and networking with industry professionals.

• Multinational context knowledge : Good experience in multinational context and complex organizational structure and business processes.
• IT Governance model : good experience to manage and work with structured Governance framework and processes also suggesting improvements and simplification in order to increase the efficiency.
• Technology knowledge background : consolidated experience on the most important enterprise technologies and digital platform, ability to understand, identify and propose different typologies of architectural solution in alignment with Product & Delivery and Infrastructural teams.
• Good English and German language skills both written and verbal.

Preferred :

Knowledge of multiple languages used in EMEAI region. Knowledge of the EMEAI Region is a benefit.

• Ability to serve as a Trusted Advisor to the Business & IT leadership teams
• Excellent Understanding of business applications.
• Good English and German language skills both written and verbal
• Good analytical, Conceptual & Problem-solving abilities
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
