JOB PURPOSE :
The (Junior) Brand Manager Retail drives and supports the identification and capitalization on growth opportunities in fingerfood, potato innovation platforms & new business towards the Retail market in Germany. They contribute to the set business objectives of the region by successfully contributing in activating our offer in collaboration with the Central European Marketing team, as well as the local sales team.

Reports to : Marketing Manager Retail
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Range responsibility : In charge of Pickers fingerfood range = point of contact & responsible for fingerfood & new segments.
Portfolio management of existing range.
Analysis & insights : Conduct market analysis and gain insights on German market, identifying and translating them into business opportunities. Conduct research & reporting & be local partner for central teams, especially on innovation platforms.
Innovation : Prepare central innovations for local roll-out. Prepare winning business cases & go-to-market plans in close collaboration with Central Teams as well as local sales team. Innovation tracking & performance reporting.
Activation : Supports and activate prioritized business opportunities in Retail. Implementation of marketing plans & delivery against the (online-offline) activation calendar. Communication plan in close collaboration with local media manager.
E-Commerce : Optimize our E-Commerce approach
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :
University degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Min. 2-3 years of work experience in marketing / product management (ideally FMCG industry)
Excellent communication skills, written & spoken
German native speaker & English fluent (written & spoken)
Proactive self-starter mentality, with entrepreneurial attitude, able to work autonomously
Project management skills
Presentation skills
Computer skills (all MS Office applications) & digital affinity
Passion for food, trends and food retail market
Team player
Flexibility to travel (1-2 days / month)
