Linux System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our client, to oversee the development and operation of their Linux based web applications.

Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing new Linux services.
Web application administration and / or system integration experience required.
This role is available remotely in Germany : all candidates must be living in Germany with fluency in German to be considered.

Your Responsibilities :

Operating, enhancing, and reporting on Linux web application services

Creating and establishing new IT services, upgrades, and processes to improve operations

Act as a contact person for web application projects, for both internal teams and external service providers

Collaborate and coordinate with your team to ensure timely and successful project completion

Skills and Qualifications :

Web servers and application administration experience

Post qualification experience as a System Integration IT Specialist (or equivalent)

Fluency in German and English Languages

Knowledge of Apache 2, Wildfly, Nginx, Tomcat, and / or MySQL
