The Finance Lead will play a key role in safeguarding the company’s financial health, ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations, and providing clear insights into cash flow and risks to support informed executive decisions and sustainable growth.
Main Tasks:
Oversee and manage all financial operations, including accounting, bookkeeping, payments, and compliance
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks on an ongoing basis
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Deliver regular financial reports and actionable insights to the executive team
Mentor and develop members of the finance team
Requirements
University degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
At least 7 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or consulting, including experience leading teams or projects, ideally in a startup or dynamic environment.
Strong knowledge of German and international accounting standards (HGB and IFRS).
Excellent communication skills in German and English (minimum C1), with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset with sharp analytical skills, a proactive approach to identifying risks, and a strong attention to detail.
Experience with modern financial tools and systems.
Previous experience building and scaling finance operations and processes.
