F&B Assistant (m / f / x)

To support our team at a&o Hostel Aachen , we are looking for YOU - a hard-working and independent F&B Assistant (m / f / x).

We are also happy to consider applicants with knowledge from / as : bakery, bake shop, gas station shop, McDonald, Subway, barista, cook, kitchen assistants, takeaway, bar staff, snack bar or career changers who enjoy giving our guests a special experience .

YOUR JOB

You will be employed in the in kitchen and bar and will actively participate in the day business; including the daily cleaning work

Preparation and taking care of the breakfast-buffet are also amongst your tasks

Imposing quality- and HACCP-standards in kitchen and bar is your responsibility

Pantry and stocktaking are your responsibility : you check food- and beverage-storage and inventory and order new products if necessary

You put the goods away on delivery

You draw up the menu for our dinner-buffet

You supervise scheduling for kitchen- and bar-crew

YOUR PROFILE

Reliability, quality awareness and flexibility are only some of your core characteristics

Regarding your work, you show a strong willingness to commit and to work independently

You are a hands-on doer who tackles and spreads good spirits even in stressful situations

Some experience in gastronomy or hospitality are desirable, but not a must

Your German and English skills are good, knowledge of other languages is an advantage
