Your tasks

  • Commissioning the application technology hardware, adjusting and parameterizing the sensors, actuators and control loops of the application technology, error analysis and programming of PLCs
  • Carrying out process checks for plant safety
  • Optimizing the processes of 240 robots in terms of quality, availability and cycle time and adapting the application software
  • Post-processing the PLC programs
  • Training teams from the production and maintenance departments in the field of PLCs
  • Handling and controlling complex automation projects
  • Responsibility for diagnosing and rectifying PLC faults

    • Your profile

  • Completed vocational training in a metal, IT or electrical profession with appropriate further training or alternatively a degree in mechatronics, electrical or automation engineering
  • Many years of professional experience in PLC programming, preferably in the field of body-in-white production
  • Knowledge of Siemens Step7 controllers and the ability to create projects and see them through to final acceptance
  • Familiar with the joining techniques used in body-in-white production
  • Confident in using MS Office
  • Good written and spoken German skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
