A Japanese multinational trading company is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their expanding team in Frankfurt, Germany. The focus of this job is to maximize satisfaction from their clients.
Business level of fluency in English or German is required.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill will be advantageous.

WORKING HOURS : 8 : 30-17 : 00 from Monday to Friday (flexible hours may be negotiated)
SALARY : €50,000 – negotiable depending on experience, plus bonus and good benefits

Sales Engineer Main Responsibilities :
Present, promote and sell machine parts such as screw bolts and metal parts to existing and prospective customers primarily within the automotive sector
Responsible for customer and supplier, mainly in Asia, correspondence
Request for Quotation (RFQ) to supplier and negotiate with supplier
Prepare quotation to customer and follow up
Visit customers and suppliers, outside of Germany (sometimes in Asia), for any negotiation on technical, pricing, and quality issues
Expedite the resolution of any customer problems and complaints
Develop any projects launched, for example making PPAP, environmental and other documents required by customers, evaluating production processes
Prepare “Monthly Sales Activity” Report to Manager and MD
Make Yearly Sales Plan and revise sales figures plan every 3 months

Sales Engineer Ideal Candidate :
Experience in sales to the automotive industry
Experience in sales of mechanical parts (bolts screws and other metal parts)
Ability to understand the contents of drawings presented by customers
Experience in trades
Good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluent in written and spoken English or German
Able to travel within Europe and overseas
