Our international Payroll team is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our Payroll Operations Team. We are looking for an individual who will take ownership and drive the change in our growing EMEA payroll organization, someone who is customer obsessed and eager to dive deep into processes.

Key job responsibilities

  • As team : processing monthly payroll for more than 30.000 employees in Germany
  • Manage communication with local authorities, including Social Security, Health Insurances, Income Tax, etc.
  • Collaborate with other payroll leaders to maintain an efficient and effective audit process
  • Collaborate in efforts to evaluate and redesign Payroll processes to align with the company’s rapid growth and commitment to quality
  • Be a subject matter expert in projects to drive payroll improvements for one country or group of small to medium size countries
  • Be a partner for M&A and expansions projects
  • Liaison with HR, Tech teams, Finance, Accounting, and others to ensure that best practices are followed and implemented

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations :

Munich, BY, DEU

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed commercial education, bachelor degree or similar qualification
  • Multiple years of relevant work experience in Payroll
  • Several years in project management and project leadership, focussing on automatisation, standardisation and improvment of payroll processes and tools
  • Fluent in English and German (C1)
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Very good knowledge of German labor, social security and tax law
  • Versed in using the MS Office package, especially Excel
  • Experience in payroll systems (frontend or backend) or technical support of payroll systems
