To provide enough potatoes for all plants every day, Lamb Weston works closely with its contract farmers. Field supervisors play a crucial role as a link between growers and production.

Job description

Hub between field and factory – support of potato suppliers with full personal responsibility

• You will be the main contact person for your contract farmers all year round and look after them in all aspects of potato cultivation.
• You conclude cultivation contracts with your growers and, if necessary, take care of the purchase of additional quantities of potatoes.
• Together with the farmers, you will select suitable potato varieties and coordinate the delivery of the seedlings.
• You will monitor the quality of the stocks and provide expert advice during cultivation and storage.
• During the harvest season, you will coordinate the smooth transport of potatoes from the field to the Lamb Weston plants.
• You document all relevant data and processes.

Location

Your area of operation includes the Rhineland and neighboring areas (including the Dutch province of Limburg). You organize your daily work from your home office and are regularly on the road in the region with "your" farmers on site.
