A Japanese manufacturer in the Netherlands is currently recruiting a Junior Finance Assistant to join their European team in Amsterdam.

In this position, you will be offered a varied role, which covers all general aspects of financial accounting and comes with the potential to develop further within the company.

This role will be an integral part of the Finance Department and has the goal of developing the right candidate to be responsible for one of the European branches.

TYPE : Full-time, initially 6-month contract (with the intention to move into a permanent contract once the initial period has ended and should both parties agree to it)

WORKING HOURS : 08 : 30-17 : 00 (Monday- Thursday) and on Fridays 08 : 30 - 16 : 00 including 30mins lunch break

SALARY : €3,100 - 3,500 per month, depending on experience

START : ASAP

LOCATION : Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Currently 2 days in the office, 3 days’ work from home – this may change depending on the company’s decision.)

Finance Assistant Main Responsibilities :

• Preparing and processing Purchasing invoices
• Preparing and processing Sales invoices
• Booking of bank statements
• Preparation of weekly payments
• Handling and processing of expense reports
• Applicable general ledger control
• Any other duties deemed appropriate to this role
