As (Senior) Engineer Software Quality Assurance   (m / f / d) you will be a member of the Software Quality Assurance group, focusing on test system development and provision, test development and test execution. You will ensure the quality assurance of the control and automation technology of the wind turbine and the wind farm.

YOUR TASKS

  • New and further development of the core auto test system with regard to regression tests during the software release process for wind turbines
  • Optimizing the efficiency of the test system and processes
  • Technical clarification and implementation of software specifications in the auto test system
  • Quality assurance through software tests on the HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) setup in the software laboratory
  • Creation of the associated software documentation
  • Automate test specifications with the help of a test sequencer
  • Further development of an automated measurement data analysis

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering or information technology or automation technology with
  • very good knowledge of the Python programming language
  • Knowledge of another programming language such as groovy / Java desirable
  • Experience with data analysis desirable
  • Good knowledge of general electrical engineering and basic knowledge of the applicable network connection guidelines
  • Knowledge of Ethernet technology, bus systems and real-time simulation systems
  • Ideally certified software tester according to ISTQB
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira is an advantage
  • Independent, conscientious and systematic way of working
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, coupled with intercultural competence
  • Fluent English , ideally skills in Spanish and / or German also
