Your tasks
As a Business Data Analyst for Product Teams , you are curious by nature and love exploring data to uncover insights that improve our Vehicle History Report . You will dig into internal and external data sources, assess data quality and product relevance, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Your work will directly influence product decisions, new features, and continuous product optimization.
You will work closely with the Product Owners and other business stakeholders, communicating insights in a way that supports confident and timely decision-making.
This position is based in Munich.
A Typical Day Will Have You
- Investigating new and existing data sources to determine how they can add value to the Vehicle History Report.
- Partnering with Product Owners to define data questions, success metrics, and evaluation approaches for product ideas.
- Use a combination of internal and external toolsets and frameworks to process, load, and analyze various data formats.
- Catalogue and document data sources, processes, business rules / assumptions, and findings.
- Presenting insights clearly (written and verbal) so stakeholders can make the right product decisions.
Your profile
3+ years of experience performing data analytics.Explorative processing and analyzing complex datasets using SQL, Python, and AWS-based tools.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and support skills; you are a strategic thinker.High curiosity and a strong drive to dig into data to understand the “why” behind patterns and anomalies.A keen eye for quality; detail-oriented working style.Strong verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing technical writing and stakeholder-ready narratives.Fluency in English is required; you should feel comfortable working in a multicultural environment with English as the main language.Nice to Have :
Knowledge of AWS services for data processing and analysis (S3, Athena, Glue, Redshift, EMR).Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).Why us?
