We’re seeking a seasoned (senior) product marketing manager to join Personio as we become the category leader in Payroll software for SMEs. Your role will be critical to ensuring Personio tells compelling stories of our solutions and stands out from other players in the highly competitive and entrenched DACH & larger EU payroll solutions market.
You’ll be responsible for crafting our message around our newest & rapidly growing portfolio of Payroll solutions and for explaining the holistic value that our products have to offer. You will own a variety of initiatives that help support brand awareness, pipeline generation and help drive deals to close.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is driven, curious, a strong story-teller and motivated to help their team win. It will be critical to understand the needs of your market and help translate the needs of customers and prospects into strong sales assets, improved marketing presence and insightful product feedback. This role will need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity and finding solutions.
This role requires 2 days per week in the office and is based in Munich or Berlin.
What You'll Do
Be the go-to-market expert who helps amplify our Payroll solutions in DACH.
Work with sales & sales enablement to create, update and train sales on assets that will help them effectively pitch the value of Personio
Partner with research teams & agencies to better understand the market, test messaging and create unique assets
Partner closely with the German marketing team to help support their regional campaign plans
Develop a deep understanding of the market including our top competitors and their products
Develop a deep understanding of the Personio product and what makes us better
What You Need To Succeed
Fluency in German and English a must
Significant background in Product Marketing or a product centric role (6 years+)
Demonstrated ability to go deep into technical topics, preferably in a B2B SaaS context
Experience engaging with sales and leadership effectively and efficiently
Teamwork : you are energized by building relationships with people from different backgrounds and with different roles and geographical locations. You have experience working cross-functionally, knowing when to lead and when to support
Self starter : you are self-motivated and can influence the teams and individuals around you
Ability to navigate through ambiguity and pickup and run projects easily
Technology experience, particularly B2B software and SaaS

At Personio, we value in-person collaboration while also offering flexibility. This role is office-based, with 2 days per week required in your contracted office location. The remaining days can be worked from home or in the office if you prefer. In addition, you’ll have 20 Flex Days per year to work remotely from other locations.
