Position Summary : The Sales Representative for advanced surgical medical device solutions will be responsible for driving sales and growing market share within a designated territory.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of medical imaging products, a strategic sales approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Management :
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence for their specialised medical devices.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals, highlighting the benefits and features of medical imaging devices.
- Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including radiologists, hospital administrators, and imaging department managers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Regularly follow up with existing clients to ensure ongoing support and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Product Expertise :
- Maintain a thorough understanding of medical imaging products, including their technical specifications and clinical applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements in medical imaging.
- Provide product training and support to clients, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to effectively use the devices.
- Market Analysis and Reporting :
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the medical imaging sector.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demands.
- Collaboration and Teamwork :
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the technical support and service teams to ensure seamless product installation and customer support.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent the company and generate leads.
Qualifications : Education :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Business, or a related field.
Experience :
- Minimum of 1-5 years of sales experience in the medical device sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Skills :
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
