Position Summary : The Sales Representative for advanced surgical medical device solutions will be responsible for driving sales and growing market share within a designated territory.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of medical imaging products, a strategic sales approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Management :
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence for their specialised medical devices.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals, highlighting the benefits and features of medical imaging devices.
  • Customer Relationship Management :
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including radiologists, hospital administrators, and imaging department managers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly follow up with existing clients to ensure ongoing support and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Product Expertise :
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of medical imaging products, including their technical specifications and clinical applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements in medical imaging.
  • Provide product training and support to clients, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to effectively use the devices.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting :
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the medical imaging sector.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demands.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork :
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the technical support and service teams to ensure seamless product installation and customer support.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent the company and generate leads.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Business, or a related field.

Experience :

  • Minimum of 1-5 years of sales experience in the medical device sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.

Skills :

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
