Compliance Officer
Location : Stuttgart
Our client is seeking a Group Compliance Manager to help shape and oversee a company-wide Compliance Management System (CMS) that safeguards integrity and promotes ethical practices across all operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development, enhancement, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive CMS focused on anti-bribery and corruption (ABAC), fair competition, fraud prevention, conflict of interest (COI) management, and anti-money laundering
- Identify and mitigate compliance-related risks across the organisation
- Foster a strong compliance and integrity culture throughout the business
- Advise senior leadership, including executive and supervisory boards, on compliance matters
- Provide support and oversight to Local Compliance Officers across international sites
- Design and roll out global compliance policies, procedures, and training programs
- Conduct internal investigations into potential compliance breaches when necessary
Requirements :
Degree in compliance, law, business, engineering, finance, or a related disciplineMinimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance, ideally in a multinational industrial or technology environmentRelevant compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP-I, ICC Certified Compliance Professional) or audit qualifications are a plusDemonstrated success in establishing and managing a CMS on a global scaleSkilled in engaging with senior stakeholders and operating independently or with a small teamProficiency in German and English (both at C1 level or higher); additional languages are an assetStrong intercultural skills and a collaborative approach to working in an international contextThe role is open to qualified individuals with disabilities, provided they meet the job requirements
