The Director Life Cycle Cost Management & Pricing will lead a high-performance team responsible for long-term revenue management of Wabtec Transit Services Group.
Who will you be working with?
- Wabtec Original Equipment sales and engineering teams during tender phase.
- Regional leaders (Finance, Sales, Operations, ) to identify levers to increase revenue & margin.
- You will also interface and influence all levels of the customer’s organization.
How will you make a difference?
You will leverage technology, industry and after-market knowledge, creating standard processes and structure to measure costs of major overhauls.
You team drives visibility to areas of efficiencies / inefficiencies impacting standard costs collaborating cross-functionally to harmonize data, derive insights and drive meaningful outcomes, KPI’s to ensure product cost structures meet business targets.
What do we want to know about you?
- Master’s degree,
- Experience in a long-life cycle industry : Rail, Energy infrastructure, Aerospace, Marine..,
- At least 10 years of experience in Engineering, Tendering, LCC, RAMS, Product Management. Understanding of Finance, Technology and Services Business,
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, in a matrix environment, with proven experience of leading cross functional reviews and workouts to efficiently determine plans, actions, & needs to deliver or overcome issues,
- Automating processes and tools knowledge, using data management AI,
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 15-25 % depending on location.
What will your typical day look like?
- Driving short, medium- and long-term strategy to optimize life cycle costs,
- Delivering Life Cycle Cost during tender phase,
- Monitor margins and operational KPI (TTQ, Hit Rate, Price variation),
- Deploying pricing guidelines and tools (Quote automation using CPQ / CRM, Smart pricing),
- Screening performance and actions to maintain Life Cycle Cost competitiveness.
At Transit Services Group , we support customers by providing maintenance and spares, and by retrofitting equipment. The Transit Services Group consolidates all business related to spare parts, repair & overhaul activities on existing trains, platforms and infrastructure.
Location Europe, with easy access / vicinity to any of our sites in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom.
