We are looking to hire a Business Developer as part of our EU Commercial Team.This person will be responsible for recruiting European Shippers to ourservice, owning and growing Shipper engagements, and ensuring a great Shipperexperience.
Key job responsibilities - Recruiting new potential customers to use our products and services - Identify new segments and unlock new customer base with best-in-classservice - Maintain a high level of engagement from our *Customer* and proactivelyidentify the challenges they are facing - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio - Be the voice of the customer (Shipper) to guide product development anditerations - Identify and lead new projects or initiatives to solve customer pain pointsand improve shipper experience About the team Amazon Freight (AF) is a B2B start-up within Amazon Transportation Services inEurope.
Amazon Freight allows external businesses (shippers) to use Amazon’stransportation technology and network to transport products in bulk acrossEurope.
This is an innovative technology-driven solution for the logisticsneeds of small and large businesses and is scaling rapidly as an offering.
This role sits within the Business Development team, part of Amazon FreightCommercial team. Focusing on new customer acquisition in the UK market, ourBusiness Developer is expected to attract new businesses, tailor our productto customers needs and close business deals with needle-moving shippers forAmazon Freight.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree - Relevant experience in business development, partner development, sales oralliances management - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Fluent in English ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Relevant experience in online advertising or high-tech productsservices - Relevant experience in Freight industry - Either Italian or Spanish both written and oral Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
