Vision is a core component of today’s autonomous robots systems, enabling the robot to have a perception of the environment and interact with it. The main focus of this work is to create the vision pipeline for an assistive-robotics platform that will enable people with disabilities to perform activities of daily living.

In this work, you will have the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art lab facilities of MIRMI, equipped with robots, data acquisition systems (EEG, EMG, motion capture etc), and mechanical / electrical workshops. To be excited and passionate about the research is a fundamental prerequisite. Furthermore, the possibility to write papers for high-impact conferences is an added plus.
