We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer with strong expertise in process automation, equipment integration, and data architecture to support complex manufacturing environments within the life sciences sector.
This role is critical in ensuring robust system integration, structured validation, and compliant operational support across GMP and non GMP environments. The position requires close collaboration with cross functional teams and international technology partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end to end testing, validation, and change coordination for new equipment integrations and system enhancements
- Perform on site testing activities to verify equipment connectivity, data integrity, and integration functionality
- Support validation activities including technical batches, water runs, performance qualification runs, and operational GMP and non GMP cycles
- Participate in and lead technical workshops focused on equipment and device integration topics
- Conduct periodic IT and OT service performance reviews to ensure defined service levels are achieved
- Contribute to design discussions within complex automation ecosystems in regulated manufacturing environments
- Coordinate technical deliverables with external automation suppliers and system vendors
- Create, review, and validate technical documentation ensuring traceability and compliance with established quality standards
- Support adherence to GxP principles, CSV methodologies, and internal quality governance frameworks

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline8 to 10 years of experience in process automation testing, system integration, or industrial automation environmentsMandatory proficiency in German and EnglishHands on testing experience with at least one of the following technologies : Siemens PCS7, OSIsoft PI (Core and PIRaDS), Cytiva UNICORNExperience within biopharmaceutical or advanced life sciences manufacturingStrong understanding of GMP and non GMP systems, GxP requirements, and CSV methodologiesExperience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environmentsSoft Skills
