Job Title : Head of Procurement Surface Solutions (CPO)

Location : Global (Flexible)

Reports To : President Surface Solutions

Job Summary :

The Head of Procurement will lead the procurement strategy for a newly independent global organization with 1,200 employees operating in 20 countries. This role will oversee the sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability. The Head of Procurement will also build a standalone procurement function to support the company's post-divestment structure. Furthermore, the Head of Procurementwill be in charge of creating synergies and of driving the globalization transformation of GNMI as a group as part of the mid-term integration process. This includes the identification of opportunities for procurement integration and synergy across affiliated business units to maximize value creation and achieve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a global procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts.
• Design and implement procurement policies and processes for the new organization.
• Recruit and lead a high-performing global procurement team.
• Streamline supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain and procurement risks while ensuring compliance.
• Drive innovation in supply chain processes through new technologies.
