Project Engineer EU - Radio (m / f / x)

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver and commission system solutions that span the globe, enabling the production and broadcast of media content at a high-quality level, leading to business growth, profitability and customer success
  • Configuration and programming of Lawo products fulfilling customer workflow and system specifications
  • Execute analysis, conception, design, and implementation of bespoke customer solutions based on Lawo products
  • Commissioning on site (travel up to 50%)
  • Become intimately knowledgeable of Lawo Radio products, their operation and configuration
  • Work closely with other Lawo teams, inside and outside of the professional services group
  • Documentation (Lawo internal, and for the customer)
  • Resolution of technical problems (remote / on-site)
  • Operational and technical training for operators and engineers
  • Support Project Manager in the efficient completion of the project
  • Support Pre-Sales subtasks when needed
  • Perform Project Management tasks when needed

YOUR PROFILE

  • Education in broadcast, audio or related field is required
  • Network / IT knowledge is required, Broadcast standard such as SMPTE 2110 / AES67 and Dante desired
  • Linux servers, docker and containers knowledge
  • Experience in the Radio broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, workflows, IP-projects as user and as configuration engineer
  • Expertise in Radio operational workflows
  • Desire to deliver service excellence
  • Structured way of working and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an engaging and professional way of interacting with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to stay organised in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Readiness for domestic and international travel (up to 50%)
  • English language is a must
  • Fluent Spanish, French, German and Portuguese languages are an asset
