Your tasks

  • Installation, administration and monitoring of virtualized system environments and the underlying hardware
  • Maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange environments as well as database solutions
  • Participation in various IT projects and taking responsibility for sub-projects
  • Second-level support for various applications and systems, including processing user enquiries
  • Maintaining the network landscape (DNS, DHCP, VLAN) as well as firewalls and security systems
  • Ensuring, supervising, maintaining and supporting the Windows system landscape (from Windows Server 2008, from Windows 7, MS Exchange, MS Active Directory)

    • Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification
  • Initial experience in the areas of server virtualization (VMware), backup and recovery, network, hardware (ideally HP)
  • Experience as an IT administrator or IT supporter in the Windows environment
  • ITIL knowledge is an advantage
  • Confident German and good written and spoken English skills
  • Analytical thinking as well as a systematic and independent way of working
