Role summary :

Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer). This position maintains an on-going business relationship with customers and daily interactions with Sales Engineers, external and intercompany suppliers, Technical Solutions and Commercial Operations Engineers to meet on-time delivery commitments for Pump repairs, upgrades, and spare parts to customers.

You will act as a technical inside salesperson, in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at connected intercompany sites, and external suppliers.

Your tasks :

  • Receiving and processing customer inquiries, orders and complaints in German or English
  • Follow-up of cost estimates and offers
  • Post-processing and translation of repair findings reports
  • Identification of customer requirements
  • Delivery time determination and delivery date monitoring
  • Ordering (internal and external suppliers)
  • Organization of machine transport to the service center
  • Support in project preparation and support of pump repairs and upgrades
  • Customer support in German and English
  • Other tasks assigned

Your profile :

  • Technical studies (Bachelor or Master) or mechanical engineering technician (Techniker Maschinenbau), Bachelor Professional of Technical Management (Technischer Fachwirt oder Betriebswirt), no professional experience is required
  • Fluency in written and spoken German
  • Good written and spoken English knowledge
  • Good computer skills in common MS Office applications
  • Strong and friendly communication and team skills
  • Independent and reliable worker
  • Affinity for both areas (technology / office)
  • Willingness to perform
  • Can-Do mentality
