Of course, this won't happen overnight. It needs talented people like you. As an Application Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for developing lead formulations that demonstrate the performance and benefits of the company's ingredients in household cleaning applications.

You will design and optimize formulations, conduct performance testing and generate data-protected evidence to demonstrate the benefits of the ingredients in the intended applications. You will be responsible for the successful launch of Consumer Care Solutions products. Working closely with R&D, sales and customers, you will ensure that the company's ingredients deliver measurable benefits in terms of cleaning performance, sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Your responsibility and impact within AMSilk company means to:

• Design and optimize cleaning product formulations using the company's ingredients to ensure high performance, stability and cost effectiveness
• Provide technical guidance to customers, helping them integrate the company's ingredients into their formulations and troubleshooting any application challenges
• Product Testing & Performance Evaluation: Conduct laboratory tests to assess cleaning efficacy, consumer benefits and compatibility with other formulation components
• Collaborate with R&D & Sales and work closely with internal teams to develop new ingredient solutions, support sales with technical presentations and provide hands-on training to customers
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to showcase technical expertise
• Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to help position the company’s ingredients competitively
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g. REACH, EPA, EU Ecolabel) and assist customers in meeting sustainability and regulatory requirements

Your areas of knowledge and expertise are:

• Master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Formulation Science, or a related field
• 7+ years in formulation development, application testing, or technical support within the household cleaning, surfactants, or specialty chemicals industry
• Relevant work experience in large companies and international environments throughout Europe, as well as working experience in different cultural environments
• Knowledge of surfactants, enzymes, solvents, and other key ingredients used in home care formulations
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in formulation challenges and ingredient compatibility
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers, R&D, and sales teams
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, conferences, and trade shows as needed
