Role Purpose

GKN Automotive is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP S / 4HANA Solution Assurance Lead. The role involves ensuring the successful delivery, quality, and optimization of SAP S / 4HANA solutions.

Provides solution assurance across SAP S / 4HANA Transformation Program. Sets out the overarching solution strategy for the SAP S / 4HANA on-premises and cloud solutions as well as integration with retained applications.

Chairs the Solution Design Approval Forum, works with GKN Change Request / IT Business Partner and System Integrator Solution Leads to steer and review strategy and architecture.

Provides an escalation mechanism within the program for solution and integration issues.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design : - Oversees the design of SAP S / HANA best practice, industry standards solutions that meet business requirements and objectives.

Also oversees solution architecture, including integration points, data flows, and system landscapes. Provides technical guidance and ensure integration, performance, and manage technical risks.

Solution Quality Assurance Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of SAP S / 4HANA solutions to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.

Ensures all the solution options considered and best fit solution recommended for implementation.

• Coordination of Business Analyst and Technical teams - Work closely with project IT Applications teams, including business analysts, technical leads, functional consultants-architects, to ensure solution integrity and compliance with project objectives.
• Advisor to IT Applications Transformation Director key advisor during Program preparation and execution.
• Deployment Oversight : Provide oversight during the deployment of SAP S / 4HANA solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from development to production environments.
• Risk assessment : Monitor the performance of SAP S / 4HANA solutions, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Documentation and Reporting : Create and maintain documentation related to solution assurance processes, findings, and recommendations.

Review and approve the End-to-End solution design, Enterprise Structure design and functional design documents.

To be successful in this position, you will have :

• Proven experience in SAP S / 4HANA implementation projects with a focus on leading the solution architecture assurance.
• 10+ years of experience in similar role with at least 2 similar Global full lifecycle implementations.
• Ability to design S / 4 HANA solutions across On-premise or private or public Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA modules and functionalities.
• Strong understanding of Integration touchpoints between Line of business, processes, and applications.
• Excellent understanding of SAP S / 4HANA implementation lifecycle, Activate Methodology and Global template design and rollouts.
• Experience of Automotive / manufacturing Industry. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Strong leadership, and communication Skills
• Implementation experience with latest SAP S / 4HANA version, ARIBA, IBP is a plus.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager is a plus. SAP S / 4HANA certification is desirable.

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Language Skills : Good English language both verbal and written
