Freelance Embedded Software Engineer - Defense Industry

Our Defense Industry client in Baden-Württemberg are looking for a Freelance Embedded Software Engineer for a sensor development and integration project. Initial contract length 6 months. Must be 80% onsite.

Requirements :

• Embedded C / C++ programming
• Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) : e.g., VxWorks, QNX, FreeRTOS
• Microcontroller and FPGA programming : e.g., ARM Cortex, Xilinx
• Device drivers development (especially for radar, lidar, EO / IR sensors)
• Embedded Linux : Kernel development, BSP (Board Support Packages)
• Signal processing algorithms
• Communication protocols : CAN, Ethernet, SPI, UART
• Safety / security ciritical standards
• Must speak German and English fluently
