YOUR ROLE :

  • Leading a team of individuals
  • Organizing regular 1 : 1s with every individual in a managed team to give and receive feedback
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing individuals
  • Handling holidays, sickness, travel and recognition for the team
  • Helping individuals determine the best way to reach their professional goals
  • Managing performance and providing useful, timely feedback
  • Guiding individuals to the right training courses and certifications
  • Building career, training and development plans for individuals
  • Onboarding new individuals
  • Close cooperation with Squads’ Tech Leads
  • Engaging in the regional SPS community

WHAT YOU WILL NEED :

  • Proven, strong experience in managing (3+ years) engineering teams, with the proven ability to coach, motivate and support the personal growth of the engineers
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Good understanding of infrastructure operations environment
  • Good understanding of ITIL framework and service management
  • Good understanding of regional HR regulations
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ready to travel
