MAJOR FUNCTION
Assist in the administration of program activities and oversight related to the furtherance of teen traffic safety awareness and education initiatives in Florida.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE : Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and two years of related experience. One of the required two years’ experience, in an educational or non-profit organization with a teen component is preferred.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING : Knowledge of the Traffic Safety Program. Some grant writing knowledge. Skills in operating personal computer software. Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to coordinate programs. Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to multi-task simultaneously and keep management up to date. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments using good time management skills. Ability to prepare correspondence and packages for shipping. Ability to do purchase orders, audit invoices for payments and follow-up tracking. Ability to drive to local, regional, and / or state meetings.
