StellenbeschreibungA completed apprenticeship as an insurance clerk or equivalent professional qualifications are required. Additional educational training as an insurance specialist or a degree in business administration is highly desirable. Over 3 years of experience within the insurance sector, particularly in industrial insurance. Strong expertise in managing international insurance programmes, especially in the areas of liability and engineering. A deep understanding of both the technical and legal elements related to industrial insurance, allowing for the effective resolution of complex issues. Fluency in both English and German (spoken and written) is essential for effective communication within a global context.
We are partnering with a leading global organisation in the design and engineering sector, to recruit a Senior Insurance Risk Strategist.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing risk compliance related to insurance claims and contract clauses on an international scale .
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain relationships with external insurance brokers, ensuring their approaches are in line with the company’s overarching global insurance strategy.
- Provide strategic analysis and recommendations on insurance-related contractual terms, ensuring they adhere to the company’s Global Risk Policy and compliance standards.
- Optimise the global insurance framework, ensuring consistent and thorough coverage is applied across all business areas, departments, and international operations.
- Oversee the handling of insurance claims across multiple sectors, ensuring they are processed with accuracy and within agreed timeframes.
- Work closely with project teams to incorporate insurance and risk considerations into project planning and execution, ensuring risk mitigation is embedded within all initiatives.
